# Delete records

> Permanently deletes up to 1000 records of one object in a single call.

Ids that are not records of this object are ignored. The response does not say how many records
were deleted. Deleting removes the records from every other record's `relationships`. Notes and
tasks linked to them are kept. Each deleted record fires the `<type>.deleted` event, and records
synced to HubSpot are deleted there too.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Deleting records cannot be undone. Linked records lose their links to the deleted records.
