@heliyos/mcp is a Model Context Protocol server. It runs on your machine, talks to your AI client over stdio, and calls the Heliyos API with your workspace API key. With it, an agent can:
  • find and update companies, people, deals and custom objects
  • read a record’s timeline, emails and meetings
  • write notes and tasks, and start Heliyos workers on a task
  • manage Scouts, read their signals and keep the watchlist
  • read and update the knowledge base your workers use, and upload its files and attachments
  • hand a job to Heliyos with heliyos_ask and follow the run
  • list the reviews waiting on your team, and approve or reject them
Important actions that workers take still wait for review in Heliyos, so your team stays in control.

MCP server on npm

The @heliyos/mcp package, its versions and its README.

How it works

  • Same API, same rules. Every tool calls documented API endpoints. Each tool page links to them.
  • Your key stays local. The server reads it from its environment and sends it only to the Heliyos API over HTTPS.
  • Marked by risk. Every tool declares whether it reads, writes or is destructive, so your client can ask before anything changes.

Before you start

You need:
  • Node.js 20 or later. Check with node -v.
  • A Heliyos API key from Settings → API keys. Only workspace owners and admins can create one. See Authentication.
Custom connectors on claude.ai and in the Claude connector directory need a hosted MCP server with OAuth. Heliyos does not offer one yet, so use a local client for now.
