List endpoints return one page at a time. Most support two modes.

Cursor paging (default)

Send limit (1 to 100, default 20). The response lists the newest items first. When there is another page, meta.pagination.next_cursor is set. Send it back as cursor, with the same limit, to get the next page. On the last page next_cursor is absent.
Cursor pages stay correct while items are added between calls: a new item never pushes another one onto a page you already read. Treat the cursor as opaque.

Page-number paging

Sending page, a custom sort, or a grouping in filters switches the list to page numbers. meta.pagination then describes the page instead of carrying a cursor. Its keys depend on the endpoint, for example:
Each list endpoint’s page shows its exact keys. A cursor sent together with a custom sort, page or grouping is rejected with 400 VALIDATION_FAILED.

Reading a whole list

Large reads count against your rate limit. Use the largest limit the endpoint allows.
